I bought a MacBook recently and it has a number of apps pre-installed i.e. iMovie. I get notifications to update it but I cannot because it was bought under another ID? I cannot even install this from my own ID because it is pre-installed. please kindly assist. pics of the notifications are attached.

I am not sure how to do that. not exactly a pro on MacBook.
also I want to download the app but I cannot because it is pre-installed and I cannot use as it needs updating but I cannot update as I haven't got in my purchases.
Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, click on Applications, select each of those applications, press the Command and Delete keys, and then try downloading them.

Click here and follow the instructions. If you can't accept them into your Apple ID and didn't customize your order with paid preloaded applications, delete and redownload them.

there is no option to delete or redownload.
I also do not see "accept" option in my purchases.
Throw the applications away in the Finder, but don't empty the Trash until you're able to download another copy.
