iPad Air 2 stuck in recovery mode after trying to update to IOS 14.2

I have an iPad Air 2 cellular. I tried to install the update IOS 14.2 as it appeared in my settings. Now it is stuck in recovery mode with the cable and arrow pointing to a computer.

I have tried to do the update through my laptop and also the restore. It does not let me, I keep getting error codes 53 and 75. So I went from a perfectly working iPad to a not functional. Anyone any suggestions other then not running new updates on old hardware
