When is Apple going to fix the password-free sign-in to Guest account in the latest update macOS 11, Big Sur?
All indications that I've read are that the Guest account does not require a password. Yet, in the user account sign-in window, a password is demanded. What is it?
iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.15
The Guest accounts have never required a password. If you don't want someone to be able to log in as a Guest, don't enable the Guest account. There's nothing to fix.
Log in as admin, and try to disable and re-enable guest account.

The Guest account has a box for the password like any normal account. I have tried accessing the Guest account by entering nothing and pressing the Enter key, the space bar and many other things. Nothing doing!
I've enabled the Guest account in System Preferences and what not. Nothing works.
Are you sure that the password request is for the guest account? Have you tried just pressing enter? I have not seen this before.
