opening SIM card tray that seems stuck on both the old iPhone and the new one

I am using the key that came with my new iPhone but it does not seem to work on either phone. Should I take both the old and the new phone to the Apple store in Ceritos CA (my nearest one}? And if so do I need an app

How in the world do you get the sim card tray open? I bought a new iPhone SE at the Apple store today. Brought it home and transferred everything over from the old phone to the new one. When I went to transfer the SIM card, though, I could not get the SIM tray open on the new phone. I tried everything. Tried the tool that came with the new phone. The tool that came with the old phone. A paperclip. That tray would not budge. In the end I gave up. Fortunately I was able to transfer my number to the new phone using the built-in esim. But I never could get the SIM tray to open, after spending a good 30 minutes or more on it. Anybody have an idea on how to open it?

sim card tray won't open I recently bought a new phone and it came with a sim card tray key (like a paper clip) but it the sim card tray won't open. Are you just supposed to press the key in and then the tray opens?

Old iPad SIM card won't slip into new IPad ? Can't tell what I'm doing wrong. Removed it from old mini iPad and trying to insert it in new iPad ninth generation. I removed and trying to insert with both iPads face down

If you are using a steady firm pressure and you still can’t get the sim tray open, then yes, I would suggest getting an appointment at an Apple Store for help.
