Missing The Best 3D Touch Keyboard Feature In iPhone 12

I just got the iPhone 12 mini, and I was not aware until now that 3D Touch was phased out! One feature I used all the time from 3D touch with previous iPhones was to press hard down on the keyboard while typing, and slide my finger, like the whole keyboard was a touchpad, to move the cursor within the text I was typing. I used this constantly to edit my typing. Is there some other way to do this now?
