Accidentally removed SSD Volume and can’t install Mac OS

So whilst trying to reinstall Mac OS Big Sur on my new MacBook Pro M1, I deleted the volume from the Apple SSD and now it won’t let me install Mac OS. Whenever I try to my drive won’t even show up. I’ve spent hours trying to find a solution and apparently I need to erase the drive, but it’s not letting me. I keep getting “couldn’t open device error 69877). I don’t know what to do at this point. Can someone please help me?

So it might be late, but I just ran into the same problem. Spent hours and hours researching and trying all the different options available by Apple support articles and such. I had somehow deleted the Macintosh HD and Data Volumes on my M1 macbookair. The real answer is to boot into recovery mode, go to disk utility, under internal click on the Apple SSD and then partition it. That created a new volume, which I used to install macOS Big Sur on.
