Voice memo

My iPhone 6 s plus - 32 gb

on checking the settings- General- iPhone storage—> it shows the voice memo is using more than 1.2 gb

I have deleted all the files/ shared some into other whatsapp chats

and deleted the app and reinstalled it 3 times.

still the space used by this app is 1.2 gb or more and there are no files in my voice memo app

kindly **** me get rid of the 1.2 gb in this app

app using more storage on my phone than i actually have on my phone why is voice memos using 474 gb of space on my iphone 8 when i literally only have 64 gb available????? i am so confused- i’ve literally deleted all of my voice memos AND THEN deleted them from recently deleted????

voice memos storage I do not have any voice recordings on my phone right now (I used to have but it was not so much) I deleted all the recordings to make space even i deleted the app and re-downloaded but it still takes almost 35 gb of my total storage which is 128 gb. How am I going to delete the data which i can not see in it?

On your iOS or iPadOS device: Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then turn OFF Voice Memos.

Just in case, you can't delete system apps. When you do this, it will remove the icon but not the app itself.
