Charging issues

When my iPad or iPhone is charging it causes my router to drop internet connection virtually every time. This occurs whether one device is charging or multiple devices are charging.

If while charging, I turn off WiFi on them or turn them off completely they won’t affect the router.

This affects only the live streaming on the TVs.

One tv is connected to wireless Roku device and the other is direct connected via cat 6 cable. Both TVs will show “loading” as soon as I begin charging the phone or pad. This happens when one or both TVs are on and live streaming.

I have 20mbps and just under 2mbps upload on a DSL.

What’s going on with these devices while they are charging that could cause this?

If I don’t allow these devices to communicate while charging, they won’t update and I will have to do it manually after charging.

I wonder if this could be a router problem or simply a change of settings with the router, or is there a necessary setting change on my pads and phones?

Help would be greatly appreciated as it’s taken me months to determine what’s causing my constant reloading issues.
