Which iPad is the best value in 2020?

“Value” is subjective - and will differ significantly according to the needs of the individual.

Do you need the processing power - and superior screen, sensor and camera array of the iPad Pro - or instead achieve your aims with the simplified and much lower specification entry-level iPad8? If instead you need a small form factor and can accommodate the much smaller screen, then the iPad mini is perhaps an appropriate choice.

If your needs are such that the iPad Pro is simply too expensive - and the iPad8 is inadequate for your needs - then the new fourth generation iPad Air is a very good choice. The Air4 combines an impressive CPU - but lacks the multi-speaker array, camera array and larger screens of the iPad Pro.

Different models of iPad fit different needs and budgets.

“Best Value” is very subjective as this can mean different things to different people.
