Aux Lightning cord not working with iOS 14.2

I use a lightning aux cord in my dad’s Ford Explorer and ever since the most recent iOS update, my iPhone will not connect to it. I even tried using the cord with my phone on an advanced stereo and it’s still not working. Will Apple be fixing this issue?

Has anything changed for you guys?

Will another cord work with your iPhone? Try the USB to Lightning cable that came with your iPhone. Does that work? If the other cable works then something went wrong with the cord in question.
