Youtube videos blurry in Big Sur Safari

Has anyone noticed that playing 4K Youtube videos in Safari on Big Sur results in reduced resolution? The same videos played through Firefox play at full resolution

Safari keeps lowering YouTube video quality (safari 14.0.3) I recently bought the macbook air m1, like 2 months ago, and it currently runs big Sur 11.2.3. I also have safari running at version 14.0.3. Every time I go on YouTube and I am about 5 minutes in on a video, it will lower the quality of the video from 1080p to around 480p. This only happens on safari and not chrome which I also have installed. Safari does not have any extensions either! Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it.

video glitching in safari and chrome When I stream videos from Youtube or BeachBody the video is extremely glitchy. This happens in both Safari and Chrome. I'm running Monterey 12.2.1. Only 57GB out of 121GB are being used on the HD. Have 8GB RAM on this MacBook Air '17. For comparison, I have a 2nd, identical MacBook Air upon which these same videos work no problem.

YouTube drops in the middle of movie to 360p Hi, I'm using Mac Big Sur 11.3.1. Sometimes YouTube got stucks in the middle of movie for a second and drops from 1080p to 360p. I need to choose manually 1080p in the quality button. I have a high speed internet, so it's not the problem. It doesn't happen on the app on iOS. Why it happen? Thanks, Michael
