Sorry should have mentioned it’s only happening on MY 2016 MacBook Pro. Uploads with correct date modified on a 2011 MacBook Pro and a 2012 iMac. Tested with the same GoPro on both other machines. Both older machines are running El Capitan. My MacBook Pro is running Mojave....

i couldnt reply to the post. the folks at gopro cant do ****.

get a vpn. go to baidu (the google of china but much more)

find CSDN forum or blog or whatever this generation calls them. its gonna be in chinese so you will need a good language translater. find one in real time if you can. ask your question there.

good luck. every device I own has this date multiple times throuout the file system. every device. dvd players. iphones, androids, tvs, printers, tablets, everything electronic that the sociopath could hack, her and her f*^$ing chinese entourage could think of to hack. cant stop it, cant prove it. ive replaced everything 3 or four times and it wont go away. it gives the sociopath complete access to everything i own. and somethings i dont. she sets the alarm off in my work van all the time just because its annoying. changes my destination in maps, denile of service attacks. cant text someone, udually a female or an important client. as soon as a new sd card, usb stick, is connected to any device it spreads to it.

just plugged that in for the very first time. dont matter that it was a pi. could have been tv or anything else. she can also \embed it into a pic message and get you that way. she needs to be transformed into another state of entropy.
