Airpods stuck on full volume

Hi,

My AirPods (1st generation) are stuck on max volume, but only during calls. While playing music, I can adjust the volume with the slider in control centre. I can move the slider during calls, but there is no impact on the AirPods’ volume.

Hello vegarduy,

It sounds like you're unable to adjust the volume for your AirPods when you're on a call. We want to make sure you're able to adjust the volume to the level you prefer, and we'd like to help.

To help us get a better understanding of the issue, we’d like to ask a few questions.

  1. Which device are you using your AirPods with, and which software version is it running? Here's how to find the software version on an iOS device: Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
  2. Does the issue happen if you use your AirPods with another device?
  3. You mentioned that the issue only happens on calls; does it happen on all calls, or only on calls with specific contacts?
  4. Does this only happen on calls in the Apple Phone app, or does it happen with calls in other apps as well, such as FaceTime? Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  5. Are you using these steps to change the AirPods volume? Change the volume on AirPods with iPhone

Thanks!
