Frustrating issues with the MacBook Pro m1

Have had the new MacBook Pro m1 for a couple of weeks. Running Big Sur 11.0.1. Still having bluetooth issues with my Apple Magic Mouse. It works most of the time but periodically loses connection throughout the day. The Apple keyboard has been solid. I hope Apple fixes this issue.

External monitor: I connect an external Dell monitor to the MacBook Pro via USB-C. I have used this monitor on my other Macs without issue. With the MacBook Pro m1, the monitor will come-up initially when the system is booted up but then goes dark. The ports on the monitor still work but the screen is blank. I tried switching the USB-C ports and it worked until I closed the lid on the computer when the monitor again went dark. In frustration, I kept the lid open a bit so that the external monitor would stay on. After a few minutes, I closed the lid and monitor worked. What is going on? I see that others are having issues with their external monitors as well.

Did you ever find a solution? This is exactly what I am experiencing and debating whether I should return my machine.

Magic Mouse disconnects in a similar manner every 2-6 hours for about 10 seconds, reconnects, disconnects again and finally reconnects.

Magic Keyboard seems okay. I also have the same issue with the external monitor connected via USB-C.

I am using Mac Mini, dual monitors - one via HDMI and the other via USB-C.
