Exporting Playlists

I exported a long playlist to several CDs as a "data CD", i.e., not a "music CD". Each CD has a file named "ContentsDB.xml". I then downloaded the contents of all these CDs to a folder on my desktop. Since the ContentsDB.xml files for each CD were duplicates, they were automatically sequentially numbered ContentsDB 2.xml, ContentsDB 3.xml and so on.

My intention is to drop these folders on to Music on a different computer. Will the contents of these various ContentsDB-x.xml files be automatically merged? Or can I export the original playlist as an .xml file, rename it to ContentsDB.xml, and use that since it os a reflection of the entire playlist.

Bottom line, how can I download a playlist across multiple CDs and its ContentsDB.xml file to a different computer?

I did exactly what you suggested (as a Data CD). So now my playlist of music is on 7 CDs, and each CD has its own ContentsDB.xml file for the songs on that CD. So when I drag/drop those songs and the ContentsDB.xml file into a new music library on a different computer, do I need to merge the various ContentsDB.xml files, or does it even matter?
