Do I charge my phone on 80% or 40%?

I’ve been charging my until 49% and always overcharged, when I came to the conclusion to not overcharged my phone starting today I won’t overcharged my phone, but I’m very confused on what percentage specifically do I have to charge my phone without overcharging it.
