Apple news app for Mac

where do I get the apple news app for my Mac? It is not in the App store and according to the Apple web site, the less robust version, not Apple News (the subscription version) is available for free

Never mind!

I was looking for it in my apps folder as APPLE News, not just NEWS.

Apple News app Can I download the Apple News app on my MacBook Pro (mid-2011) running MacOS 10.13? My husband has a MacBook Air running MacOS 10.14, and I'm also wondering if Apple News can be downloaded on that one. We have it on our iPhones but can't see how to get it on our laptops. And I don't see any sign of the Apple News app in the App Store. Many thanks for your help!
