Apple News app on MacBook Air

I just purchased a MacBook Air last week. The Apple News app is not preloaded, nor is it available in the App Store for a Mac. I live in Ecuador if that makes any difference. How do I get this app for my Mac?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0
