Apple News App missing in Big Sur

Hello,

I cannot find the Apple News app on my new MacBook Air (M1). It is on all my devices(iPhone, iPad) including my older MBP also running Big Sur. (I do live in Japan but have a US App Store account for Apple Music etc, so location has never been an issue for US based apps. ). Never had any problems until this new M1 MacBook Air. Help Apple!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2
