can't access movies on apple+ tv , system asking me to update software but update keeps failing

Make sure DNS is set to auto (settings - network)
If on wifi try ethernet
Try a reboot, if persists do a restore

, used ethernet , did a restore and still not downloading updates , don't know what else to do
