In Big Sur 11.0.1, opening the Remote Desktop app (v3.9.4) shows this error dialog:
The console log shows these errors:
I open Terminal and type "sudo lsof | wc -l" which returns 18548 open files. This doesn't seem high. What's going on here?

Apple's "fact checker" bot keeps removing this post because it doesn't like the GitHub link. So you'll have to manually type the link if you need to use this solution--which does, in fact, fix the problem.
