iPhone 11 Pro Max won't connect to wifi.

I woke up this morning and my iphone was no longer able to connect to wifi. My wifi settings shows I'm connected but I am not. I have turned the wifi on and off, turned airplane mode on and off, restarted my iphone and did a network reset and none of this worked. It is not a problem with my router because all of my other devices are connected to wifi.

Hi nmason12,

In that case, since the same issue occurs with other Wi-Fi networks, we'll take some steps to ensure your iPhone is set up to use Wi-Fi networks without issue.

First, let's go into Settings > General > Date & Time and turn off the option to "Set Automatically". After about 20 seconds, or if it's already off, please turn it on again, and verify that your time and time zone are accurate.

Accurate system time may be critically important when establishing connections online.

Let's also head into Settings > General and scroll to the bottom. Do you see a section labeled "Profiles"? If so, there may be a device management profile installed. Typically these are configured by your work or school environment, in which case you'll want to reach out to your IT administrator for assistance.

If you're using any kind of protective case on your device, we also recommend removing it for further testing.

If you find that the same issues persist after each of these steps, reach out to Apple Support via our website here for further assistance:

Hi nmason12,

We appreciate you contacting Apple Support Communities for help getting your iPhone 11 Pro Max online while connected to your Wi-Fi network. We're glad to help sort this out.

You've already completed some great steps to isolate the root cause. As your iPhone is able to see the Wi-Fi network, will it be possible to join a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists? This step helps to further isolate the root cause of the behavior you're seeing.

Though an issue may only appear to be affecting one device on the network, it may yet be due to some issue with the router that is preventing online access from routing properly to this one device.

If you haven't already had a chance to do so, we can recommend powering off your router for a few minutes, before powering it back on. If there's a battery backup function of the router, you'll want to temporarily disconnect or remove the battery while the router is off, so that it restarts properly.

We'd like to share the following guide with some great steps to isolate the issue further:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

We're here for you if you've got any questions.

Have a great day!
