apple watch and 2020 Toyota Rav4 carplay not working

I have a brand new Toyota Rav4 and I have had my watch before I got my car, everything worked fine for awhile. then my right speaker started crackling i thought maybe smoke was going to come out and the whole system quit. turned off my are restarted it and everything worked then my left speaker started crackling and system stopped working. I took it to our local Toyota Dealer and they said it's my Iwatch!!! well what the heck can this be true $40,000.00 car and this happens - has any one heard of any fixes
