I ordered a MacBook air, it's been 10 days, and the order status is still processing, not even preparing to ship. The estimated delivery is 14-21 December and today is 12 December. I know the process takes a long time due to covid but isn't this too late? I'm afraid of Apple forgetting my order. Is there anyone who has the same problem?
Relax. It will arrive in the stated window. Last month my 16” MBP remained ‘processing’ until a couple of days into the stated late-November window, then went from preparing to ship to being in my hands in a 3-day period, arriving one day before the end of the window.
When the item moves from the processing stage to “preparing to ship” to “shipped” things happen very quickly. When it is shipped, Apple will send you an email with an anticipated arrival date, and tracking information. I have found Apple’s shipping estimates to be quite accurate. Hang in there.
