Macbook Pro dent

I bought a new Macbook pro and after few months I am seeing dents one on the right side over the speaker and other down to the speaker (see the image). I didnot cause any damage to the laptop. I am asking the dealer and they are asking me to pay the money. How should I deal with this?

Thanks for the reply. You can see clearly from the image it is bulged and it is pretty new and your reply is not reasonable.

FWIW, the reply you got from Branta_uk seems "reasonable" to me. What reply would you like from other users? How about this? It appears your computer has dents and Apple should pay for the repairs or replace the computer. Is this a "reasonable" response? Are you happy now?

Take your computer to an authorized service center for evaluation. Be prepared to pay for the repair unless evaluation indicates that the dents were caused by Apple.

The only way dents will appear is from external pressure, either because someone put something heavy on it, or as seems more likely from your photo, it has been stuffed into an overfilled laptop bag. Either way it is mechanical damage and not covered by warranty any more than it would be if the computer had been dropped. Accept the charges and get it repaired, or continue to use with a battered case unless it impairs the functions.
