iPhones are natively secure and are super difficult to get viruses, malware, ransomware, etc. You can't really get any virus protection for iPhones anyway because apps dont have the permission to monitor processes and downloads on the iPhone. I have never seen a virus or anything on a iPhone, the built in security in IOS is just really good and would be so difficult to get any type of virus.

if you don't jailbreak your iOS device then the tools used by developers to make apps don't have have the components to create a virus. However if you use some other service that gets hacked then it's possible something on that end can cause an overall behavior problem, but still the infection is not coming from your phone.
