I have had an iPhone for about six years and I have never had to run any kind of a virus scan or anything like that. Am I supposed to be? How would I know if I have anything on my phone that shouldn’t be there? As in malware or virus?

2. The only software on a non-jailbroken iPhone will be the OS and manually-downloaded applications; Apple checks the ones in the App Store.

Thank you for your response. I didn’t think I should have to but I got some kind of a random notice from Google telling me I had 44 viruses on my phone and it scared me so I figured I’d better see. It obviously was a phishing scam.
