This isn’t even a question I just want to let apple know that this haptics sound thing that keeps turning my music down for me ‘to protect my ears’ when I’m listening to music through my speakers is SO ANNOYING.
Let me turn this setting off. I’m listening through Bluetooth on speakers loudly in my house, it’s not dangerous. And even if I was listening on headphones, it’s none of your business if I hurt my ears. I like loud music.
Update to iOS 14.4 - it's fixed!
The new options in Bluetooth pairing now allow you to set all bluetooth audio devices (except Apple branded headphones) to Speaker, Car audio etc.
Tap the (i) next to the paired device and select the appropriate type.
You may have to delete the pairing and pair again.
Well I found this on the Internet, I tried it, and the ******** turn my music down anyways. I am upstairs on Bluetooth, I’m downstairs on Bluetooth, I’m all over the house, I don’t sit still listening to music and I don’t have it too loud. What a stupid freaking feature
I completely agree! I’m outside working on my quarter of an acre land and I’m trying to listen to my music Thru my speaker and it turns it down and I can’t turn it back up, this is the most frustrating and annoying ********! I’m about to get a different phone.

In all seriousness, I am partially deaf, so I need to have the volume up loud but my phone keeps turning it down, which I get is a good feature to help protect people’s ears so they don’t end up like myself, however, is there a way for me to stop this? It is very irritating when I am working and my hands are busy so I can’t readjust the volume.

STOP turning the music down when I’ve got it through my speakers!!! It’s so annoying it’s not even loud I’ve had enough ruins my day
totally agree. pay so much for these phones you’d think you’d at least have the privilege of controlling your volume, please let me turn this feature off!!!

try this, your phone will think that this is the loudest the volume should be before turning it down but the gag isssssss ( that’s the loudest it’ll go)
I agree, I would just roll my eyes at the feature if there was a way to cancel it but to not give me the choice is absolutely absurd and will likely effect my purchase the next time I need a phone
