Macbook pro fan running constantly.

During the last month or so, I have noticed the laptop fan running constantly and quite loudly. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on.

I use Chrome web browser, and from looking online, it seems to be the culprit; however, I have had this laptop for about a year, and problem has only emerged in the last month or so.
