iPhone 12 keeps dropping signal

As the title states, after about 5-10 mins of non use the phone will not reconnect to the internet unless I swap on and off aeroplane mode. I have tried with both 5G and LTE and it does it just the same. What’s the deal? It’s not my carrier because I’ve seen reports of this happening across the board.

Not true. I had an iPhone 8 Plus for 4 years and sat in the same desk without having any issues. Now all the sudden with the 12 it’s dropping signal left and right. Again I have seen this happening on Verizon, Att, and sprint. So it’s obviously a network chip issue within the 12.
