Reminders will not sync between iPhone and iPad--Any fix?

Using iCloud reminders on my MacBook Air works instantaneously with iCloud.com.

However, when I turn iCloud reminders on on my iPad and iPhone, while reminders immediately sync to the iPad and iPhone, any changes I make on my MacBook will sync to iCloud.com but not my iPad or iPhone.

Conversely, any changes I make on my iPad or iPhone do not sync to my MacBook Pro or iCloud.com. So right now it appears that Reminders for macOS and Reminders for iCloud.com work together.

It appears that Reminders on iPadOS and iOS will not sync.

Any ideas for a fix?
