Erratic movements with Razer Mouse

I have recently bought a Razer Viper but there has been a reoccurring issue and I can't figure out how to solve it. When connecting my mouse to my 2015 MBP, the movement of the mouse is fine but the location of the cursor seems lagged and takes a while for my Mac to actually realize where my cursor is. I have used this mouse with my colleague's 2018 MBP and it has worked fine, it just glitches for my computer. I have also tried both ports and the issue occurs the same on both sides.
