AirPods Pro do not answer or end calls

My iPod pros do not answer or end calls. Pressing the force sensor only shuffles the noice transparency options.

I read these instructions.

However, when I receive a call on my iPhone, and press the force sensor, the call does not answer. (Nor can I end the call by pressing the sensor when the call is done) When the iPhone receives an incoming call and I press the force sensor, the noice cancelations settings change.

I am surprised I am the only one to notice this.
