iPhone 11 used to not record Recent calls which I liked. Now it does after upgrade to 14.2, and have to clear them manually. How to stop from recording in first place

When I got my iPhone 11 Pro last year, I liked it as my calls were not shown in Recents. Now with 14.2 upgrade it shows them, and I have to manually clear them. I want to go back to the phone not recording them at all. I have disabled the iCloud drive, turned off Automatic Timing. It's not the new upgrade because my wife's 13.1 shows them too. How do I disable without having to delete manuallY?

Yes, they are. Go to Settings>FaceID & Passcode. Enter your passcode to enter that area. Tap on Change Passcode, enter your current passcode. Now it will ask you to Enter your New Passcode. Just above he keypad, you should see Passcode Options. Tap on that and you will see a list of options. Select the 4-digit passcode. Enter your 4-digit code, confirm it, and you are good to go.

If your Recent calls were not appearing on the iPhone 11 Pro, something was wrong with it. The iPhone is designed to capture your last 100 calls in Recents, and with a button can filter All or Missed. It is quite easy to delete them manually, just tap on Edit, then Clear, then Clear All and that will remove them. You cannot disable it showing Recent calls.
