My messages that I send via messenger are not sending , there is a red icon showing and when I touch the red icon , it say couldn’t send. On both my iPhone and iPad, I uninstalled messenger then reinstalled and I still can’t send anything to anyone.
I was able to receive a message via messenger from my daughter but that’s all that happens.

Facebook Messenger is a third-party developed app. That means is it an app which is not developed by Apple. You will want to follow the steps in this article: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open. Be sure to follow the article to contact the app developer if you reach step 5 so you can receive additional support.
