Certain navigaton and media control keys not working after Big Sur update

Hi, I have updated my early 2017 Mac Air to OS Big Sur and the media buttons, mission control button and launchpad have stopped working. I know this is not a hardware problem because my mac has been working fine before I updated to Big Sur.

media keys not working properly on Big Sur I've just upgraded to Big Sur on my three year old iMac. Since the upgrade the following media keys do not work: play/pause (F8), rewind (F7) and fast forward (F9) do not work for Apple Music or VLC, although they work fine for apple podcasts and YouTube videos in safari, which indicates that it is not a keyboard problem. Mission Control (F3) and Launch Pad (F4) do not work at all. The more universal controls such as dim (F1), brighter (F2), but (F10), volume down (F11) and volume up (F12) still work fine. Is there some configuration I need to change to make these keys work again as everything was working fine on Catalina? Can anyone advise me on how to fix this?

Big Sur Menu Bar bug (in full screen) Hi everyone, yesterday I updated my MacBook Pro 16 to Big Sur 11.4 from Catalina 10.15.7. After using it for a while I noticed some Menu Bar glitches when applications are opened in full screen. For instance when I watch a pdf document in Preview (opened in full screen) and I move the cursor to the top, the Menu Bar very frequently appears absolutely transparent. Menu items are messed up with the content below which is visible (like on screenshot). I never saw something like this on Catalina. Do you have the same problem??

touch bar disappeared after updating MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019) to Big Sur 11.6 after updating my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019) to Big Sur 11.6 this October 2021, the touch bar disappeared. the esc and function keys are nowhere to be found. can anyone please tell how to restore the Touch Bar or any keys to show the esc and function keys? thanks

Go into System Preferences >> Keyboard and check if all the options are enabled / disabled.
