I can not run the update on my watch because I only have 2.1 GB available and I need 2.5. Photos & Camera are taking up 17.0 MB and I would like to lower that by a lot. I never look at photos on my watch and I never use the camera function. How do I get these photos off of my watch?

Unpair your Apple Watch via the Watch app on your iPhone.
Then Re-pair your Apple Watch,this deletes temporary and corrupted files
and also clears the system cache freeing up a surprisingly large amount of storage space.And without any loss of data.
Thank you. I also learned that any picture on my phone marked as a "favorite" will automatically be on my watch. So I cleaned those out and did the re-pair. It worked and I now have much more space on my watch.
