Apple TV led flashing

Hi all,

when trying to restore my not working apple tv via Mac os Catalina, after download appears:

Apple TV "Apple TV" cannot be restored because the firmware file is corrupt.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

A corrupt firmware file probably means that the calculated checksum doesn’t match the built-in checksum. Try restoring again.

If you did as described and it still fails, then you may have to bring the unit in to Apple.
