iPAD doesn’t lock/unlock when closing/opening the cover after IOS update to 14.2

I have iPAD AIR 2 and an Apple original leather case with cover lid. The automatic lock/unlock function worked fine before latest IOS update. Not anymore. I don’t remember which was the previous IOS version when it worked. The settings are unchanged. Seems to be a SW bug.

IPadOS 16.5 cover Lock / Unlock not working My iPad Air 4 was updated iPadOS 16.5.1 this week, and since then the lock / unlock feature does not work when my cover is closed or opened. I’ve been using this cover since I purchased my iPad and the magnet does engage when it is closed. I’ve tried turning off both auto lock and the lock / unlock, shutting down, then restarting, then reenabling the features…. The auto lock works, but the lock / unlock does not.

Lock/Unlock triggered at wrong times + Auto-Lock not working I have Lock/Unlock toggled ON. I am using an Amazon folio case on my iPad Air 4. When the case cover is unfolded and placed behind the iPad (during use), the iPad will lock as as if I had closed the iPad cover. The issue persisted when I used a different case on my device. I also tried putting my case on my friend's iPad. They did not face the same issue I had. I would just turn off the Lock/Unlock feature as a last resort, however my Auto-Lock also stopped working. My Auto-Lock is also set to 2 minutes but the iPad will literally never lock. I have downloaded the most recent iOS and have shut off my device and this hasn't resolved either issue. Please help me!

No auto lock/ unlock on iPad Air4 with iPadOS14.1 ? I put the auto lock /unlock case, but when I close the cover the screen is not closed and vice versa When checking at display & brightness > lock/ unlock, there is missing. Is this normal behaviors for iPad4?
