trackpad

My trackpad is acting erratically. Example...I will be on FB and if I scroll over a picture or profile it will automatically go there. It's driving me nuts. I've tried different settings and nothing works.

Perform BOTH of the Following:***

A. Disable "Tap to Click":

Check Trackpad Preferences to make sure "Tap to Click" has not been enabled.

B. Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:

Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for the Trackpad) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM.

My Settings:

I have these Trackpad Preferences set, in which case, I have never come across this issue.
