Scanning to Photos

I've not been able to find a way. Workaround is to scan to a folder, and import from there. Very little extra time compared with the scanning process.

You can't. An image file must be on the hard drive before it can be imported into a Photos library. We used to be able to scan directly into iPhoto but not with Photos.
