splitting keynote presentation across multiple displays

I need to do a display for a museum wall, with 4 monitors, and I would like to control the graphics and timing across all the monitors as though they were one. Does Keynote support this type of application? is any other software required? Thanks!

First, you need to speak to a professional AV equipment supplier with at least the following information:


  • signal input type (DVI/ displayport)?
  • permanent exhibition, portable or a one off?
  • manual set up (switch on and start the presentation) or automated?
  • is the video wall already installed or will this be a new purchase?



You feed the output from the Mac running Keynote into a multi display graphics adapter. We always use Matrox adapters, see here for an overview of what a video wall does:
