wheres my downloads

I’m working with my iPad (14.2) and I have plenty of space on the iPad and plenty of space in  iCloud.

Tonight I downloaded two films from Netflix, they saved automatically to My Downloads, Smart Downloads is On.  Safari is my default browser. I don’t have a PC at the moment.

However, when I went to search for them I couldn’t see them, I’ve read that unlike Android devices iPad downloads are hard to locate, that was part of the reason for downloading, and yes it’s true!

I’ve  checked my Dropbox - not there.  Photos - not there. I’ve opened iCloud Drive - still no joy. By and large I enjoy my iPad but the Downloads do seem difficult to understand and find

Where would these two films be stored ?
