Mac Mini M1 - Constant Pinwheel Loading Issues

Hi,

I'm having constant pinwheel loading issues with just trying to run simple tasks on my Mac Mini M1. Simple tasks like opening Safari or opening Finder causes the pinwheel to show up and run into loading issues. I tried force quitting the applications too, but that doesn't even allow the application quit - I have to hard reset it to finally respond.

I understand there's currently some unsupported applications that might fail - I use Adobe Illustrator for work which I know is currently unsupported on the M1 chip. But things like Safari, Preview, and other Apple native apps shouldn't be having this issue.

Is anyone else having this problem? And have you found any resolutions? I'm not sure if this is just another Big Sur problem or if there's something faulty with my Mini.

Mac mini, macOS 11.0

More often than not, the cause is incompatible background processes

that are using up either CPU resources or disk access resources or both.

Rather that going the multiple questions, simply download the app

Etrecheck from the MacApp Store. Then run it and post the results

here using the additional text button at the bottom of these windows.
