enable icloud account without trusted phone number

If the account is set up with 2FA and you have removed the trusted number it could be landline number or a mobile number at least one trusted number is essentially to be added without it the account will never be accessed from the web browser , however the account exists on iCloud server , you know the Apple ID and its password it doesn't matter , the trusted number has to be updated on the iCloud server so that a code could be sent .

Please visit cellular service provider centre , they can only help you give your personal identity proofs to them and reveal the number to you .

Note : when ever a question is posted always write down which device is used also its version , the code can be of 2FA or two step verification .

Why do you want to delete the trusted number , if you delete the code will not appear on it and account activation will be incomplete .

Please arrange a trusted number , to get the code .

the painfull part is i cant remember the number

without knowing this number, you can't recover your account.
