My Macbook can't detect my external drive dvd, can someone help me ?

Well, what mac, what OS, what DVD drive?
First, go to the Apple menu and choose About this Mac.
Post a screenshot.
Second, click the "System Report..." button. On the window that opens, click on USB in the left side. Show us what you get. Does your DVD drive appear there?
Well, in the left side of what? The Finder? No, it usually won't, unless there is a nonempty disc in it. It also won't appear on the desktop, just by connecting it physically to your mac. That is normal.
I am trying to establish if the drive is being "seen" by your mac - that information can be gotten from the USB part of system report:
I have MacBook Pro, versión10.15.7 macOS Catalina, and the problem I have its with apple USB SuperDrive is don't show up any where in the left side....
well, the DVD drive is anywhere of the window system report, so is not showing in my mac...
