iPad unresponsive when away from home

Hi all,

I recently got the 2020 iPad Pro and it’s worked flawlessly.

But when I took it round to my mums house half the apps wouldn’t load, they start and stay on loading screen.

I brought it to uni today and it did the same thing!

At home and on my home WiFi it works amazingly and fast and just as it should but it seems to have a meltdown when I’m out?

I actually got this FOR University so if it is going to just play up when I’m not home then it’s pretty useless to me 😧🤷🏻‍♂️

Ok so I solved it myself and I’ll leave this here in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

I have my Mac connected in the files app so I can edit directly on there instead of airdropping back and forth.

I had to eject the Mac from the files app and then the iPad worked like it should!

must have been an error where it was constantly trying to get the Mac files in the apps I wanted to use 🤷🏻‍♂️

So, remember to eject storage from your home network when you go out 😅😂
