Minimum Volume Too Loud With Bluetooth Headphones

When using bluetooth headphones with my iPad Pro (2020), the absolute minimum volume is still too loud. I thought the issue was with my headphones, so I bought new ones (they were supposed to be able to go to very low volumes) but the result is exactly the same; too loud. Is there really no way to adjust the volume further? I can't even listen to music like this.

Hey mermaidonfire,

We understand that you're having trouble lowering the volume when using Bluetooth headphones with your iPad Pro. Take a look at the following guide for steps on lowering the volume, specially the section "Limit the headphone volume" here: Adjust the volume on iPad

Depending on the headphones you're using, you may be able to customize the headphone audio levels even more. Details can be found here: Customize headphone audio levels on your iPhone or iPad

If that doesn't help, you may consider unpairing the headphones and setting them up again: Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know how that goes.

Take care.

Thanks for your help. I've pretty much already tried all of these solutions, and they did not work. Based on what I'm seeing, the only way I would be able to decrease the minimum volume is by getting Airpods or Beats, which is quite frustrating, as I don't really have the budget for that right now. I wanted to give it one last shot, though. Thanks anyway!

Exactly same here, too. I got my iPad Pro (2020) yesterday and tried the listen music, or watch youtube videos with bluetooth headphones. It is too loud. There seem to be no stage between mute and the current minimum volume. I can't use it this way. Really poor.

I don't have this problem with my Macbook Pro. So for me this seems to be a bug on the iPad Pro.
