Lightning to hdmi cable for streaming

I purchased a projector in hopes of watching (streaming) Netflix and Amazon Prime from my iPhone apps. I live in a very remote location and I do not have internet and only use my phone’s data plan. I purchased a lightning to hdmi cable to connect my phone to the projector, unfortunately I purchased an off brand, just to realize that it would not support Netflix or Amazon prime. I have done a bit more research and have come to the conclusion that an Apple certified lightning to HDMI cable will in fact support paid streaming apps (Netflix and Amazon) before I purchase another adapter I wanted to make sure that I have the correct information. So, will an Apple certified lightning to hdmi cable support streaming Netflix and Amazon prime on my iPhone to a projector?
