Will Alexa play smart playlists from iTunes?

I have signed up to Apple Music, having previously subscribed to iTunes Match. My phone happily plays my previously set up smart playlists, but Alexa cannot find them.

Manually set-up playlists I have created since using Apple Music play fine, but I have 10+ years of iTunes smart playlists I want to use on Alexa.

P.S. please don't ask suggest I stream Apple Music from my phone via Bluetooth, I have a stereo set up with two Alexa speakers, bluetooth only allows connection to a single speaker.

My issue is that I want to shuffle the order of playlists, now I know I have to manually create them for playing through Alexa. I have had variable experiences with this.

Alexa will shuffle but only when I force it to skip a track. It will then revert to the original playlist order, very frustrating.

No, it won't. Only manual ones, I found out after asking Amazon and they had me make a playlist as a test and the manual one worked.

Oh, I should clarify, using voice commands, it won't find the Smart Playlists, only the manual ones. I don't know about playing/casting from your phone to Alexa Echo Dot or whatever.
